This week has been so much fun. My dear friend Vanessa, of butterflyspArks, is in town from Dallas, TX…while we hosted another Branding + Social Media Lab together in Whitefish, Montana. The Lab was an amazing event. There’s something about encouraging and inspiring fellow business owners and aspiring artists. It never gets old….and this weeks event was definitely a highlight of our time together.

We hosted the event at the Red Caboose and the house was packed. A sold out event! I loved investing into my community in this way….and what I love even more is seeing people and businesses already taking what they learned and putting into practice!

Week 20

Oh my! Half way there!!

We had our 20 week appointment on Friday and everything is going great! So very thankful for that. Hearing his little heart beat never gets old….

BIG HAPPENINGS THIS WEEK!
I FELT OUR BABY BOY MOVE FOR THE FIRST TIME!
Wow. Indescribable.

Well, this week our little guy is weighing in around 10 1/2 ounces and is about 10 inches from head to heel. You guessed it…..the length of a BANANA!

Week 19

Happy Monday, friends!

The huz and I spent the weekend in Park City, UT and it was beautiful! The trip was one-part getaway and two-part business. Reed is working on expansion plans with my uncle for our frozen yogurt shop so they were busy little bee’s as my aunt and I began shopping for our little BOY! It’s SO much more fun to dream up ideas and buy cute things for the babe- now that we know he is HE!

Well, our little guy is weighing in at an estimated 8 1/2 ounces and measures 6 inches [head to bottom].

Week 18

This past weekend was an exciting one! Not only did we have our very first ultra-sound and see our little babe moving around, but we also found out what HE/SHE is!! I’ll be posting about the gender reveal party later today, but here’s where we are this week…..!!

Weighing in around 7 ounces and about 5 1/2 inches long…..

Gender Reveal Party

I was inspired to do a “gender reveal” party by my dear friend Heather Marvin in Nashville, TN. I absolutely loved the idea from the moment I watched the video she posted on Facebook- announcing their 3rd baby on the way would be a girl! So sweet!

Last Friday morning, Reed and I experienced the “ultra-sound”, where we saw the tiny miracle that is growing day by day. We were completely overwhelmed and in awe of Gods beautiful creation. This just made everything so real! I loved how Reeds eyes were glued to the screen the entire time….he’s completely in love.

We left the appointment NOT knowing what the gender was. Instead, I had my nurse call my sister…who immediately called my super creative friend, Carrie, who would then bake an adorable cake with either PINK OR BLUE frosting on the inside. About 7 hours later we were surrounded by our family and friends to share in this special evening with us. Call us crazy, but we really enjoyed the suspense that day- I loved all of our discussions and wonder of what the evening would hold for us.

We are super excited about this little person…..and we truly appreciate all the LOVE you have showered us with already! We are so lucky.
