I knew this day would come. This is the very reason why I allowed it to just happen….without rushing it.

Same goes for sleep training. Every baby is different- thats why we can’t compare our babies. However, EVERYONE has opinions on sleep. I knew he would do it….and eventually he did [still does] and is now in his own room- in his own bed- and wouldn’t even sleep with Reed and I if I tried to trick him into it! I’ve really soaked in all 15 months of Ezras life. With your first baby you can do more than you can with two or three [or so I’ve been told]….you can bend “the rules”…and thats what I’ve done. I look back on the days when he slept by my side all night long…on the nights when he would wake every few hours…and I cherish those moments. Those things don’t happen anymore [don’t get me wrong- I’m loving my sleep], but I sure do look forward to seeing my baby each morning. I miss him so much in that almost 12 hour gap!
Back to walking…..yea, we have a walker and a climber on our hands. Our adventure just got a bit more exciting!
Ezra, I love you more than I can express in words. You are a blessing. You continue to reveal parts of me that need refining, but I am constantly inspired and encouraged. We never knew we could love this much…..we are so proud of your accomplishment this week. This is just the beginning……
