Easter

Easter Sunday rocked my world. The teaching series that we have been going through these last few weeks have really been near and dear to my heart…..ALL WILL DIE and ALL WILL RISE. That pretty much summed up 2010 for me.

I am honored to be living here in Whitefish, Montana….serving the Lord alongside some pretty incredible people that I get to call my friends. God certainly knew better than I, while I was rolling my eyes at the idea of moving from Nashville, Tennessee to Montana. Something amazing is happening on this side of the map….something bigger than what I can even wrap my mind around….and I stand amazed, blessed, humbled…..in awe that God chose me to be part of this movement. I am so thankful.

The Easter service took place at the Majestic Valley Arena, where the attendance was at maximum capacity [5,000 people!]. Over 130 decisions for Christ were made that morning! Our pastor, Levi Lusko, re-capped the service perfectly…..so PLEASE go and visit his blog to get a glimpse of the awesomeness that dropped on our city over the weekend.

Levi & Jennie….THANK YOU. Your leadership, vision and passion for the Lord is oh so inspiring. It is an honor to live life alongside of you and your family.

Skull Church

I know. I know. The name of my post may completely freak people out, but stop right now. I’ll probably be blogging more of these events in the future so I figured I might as well give you a proper introduction to Skull Church.

Skull Church is a monthly event that takes place at my church, Fresh Life, in Kalispell, Montana. It involves a powerful and relevant presentation of the Gospel, along with a guest band for an evening concert. They are doing some radical things here in the Valley and I am stoked to be a small part of the story. You can read more about it here, but I’ll leave you with the story behind the name::

John 19:17-18 says, “Carrying the cross by himself, he (Jesus) went to the place called Place of the Skull. There they nailed him to the cross.” (NLT)
The most beautiful thing that has ever happened in history occurred in a place of death, God died in our place. Skull Church is a platform to amplify the message of what happened on that skull-shaped hill to a lost world.”

Pastor Levi Lusko rocks my world. I love his boldness in truth, creativity and his passion for a strong and clear vision. If you follow me on Twitter….you’ll know that you can always count on me to share little tidbits from the Sunday services. I seriously can’t help myself….I want everyone to know of all the awesomeness that I am constantly learning on a weekly basis. You can watch all of these services online at www.freshlifechurch.com

Last night The Classic Crime was the featured band- and they were AWESOME! Here are a few images from last night’s SKULL CHURCH::

X O

Am I the only girl in the world who doesn’t really care to make Valentines Day a big deal? I’ve never really been into putting a huge emphasis on the day itself….however, my love language is “quality time” and “physical touch”….so does that make me more of a Valentines girl 365 days a year?

Since I have your attention….I’ll brag about my husband real quick. He’s pretty awesome and I love him to pieces. Reed is more than what I had hoped for….and how lucky I am to get to live life together with him. I love us.

Well, this is for you, my friends….x’s and o’s.

**will be blogging about this painted wood art soon**

film

It’s hard to believe that my last FILM post was this one, but here I go again…..took some time to photograph my surroundings…..the things that catch my eye.

House Hunters | Montana

Yes, its true.
The huz and I just finished filming the very first episode of HOUSE HUNTERS- MONTANA!!!! [oh my goodness!!! are you kidding me?!?]

This was an experience that we will never forget [for many reasons]. We were in the middle of filming when I got the dreaded call about my sister…..but not only did we have the best crew ever, we gained new friends through the process. Tom, Chris, Brian and Kellie…..you all are awesome. Words don’t even describe. We love you guys!!

Im not sure when the show will air, but I’ll post the date as soon as I hear. The network is pretty stoked about what they were able to capture here in Whitefish, MT. Maybe some of you will be inspired to visit……Yes, please! XOXO

Here are some behind the scenes from my iPhone.
**more to come AFTER the show airs….I can’t give anything away!!
